If we are not using Windows Authentication, is it necessary for our Forms server to communicate with Active Directory? We are trying to configure our DMZ firewall settings.

Could someone from Laserfiche provide an answer to the question, please?

Hi Jen,

You don't need to connect to the AD server.

Forms users are managed in and synchronized from the Laserfiche Server (or LFDS). Those are the only servers Forms talks to for authentication purposes.
