Forms don't save to repository - because of incorrect formatting

asked on February 19, 2016

Hi, I have 8 forms that are stuck in In Progress (but they are suspended on the step to Save to LF Repo). I alrady know the cause of it - folks that filled out the form but did not place dashes between their ssn number, their forms are getting stuck. I have since corrected the problem (the template requires dashes in the ssn number and the form didn't), however I don't think that those stuck forms are using the new and corrected version of the Form Process. I retried the forms but they are still using the old and incorrect version of the Form Process.

Can someone please give me an advice on how to retry these tasks with the correct version of Form Process?

Thank you!

Sorry I just realized that you cannot use JavaScript to change field values on a read-only form.

So another workaround is to change the repository field template to allow ssn number without dashes, and then change it back after save to repository service task finishes.

When you fixed the forms, the variable values in the submitted instances stay not changed. Retrying service tasks won't change the values.

I would suggest add JavaScript to correct the values on form load.
