Look Up Rule Choices Not Setting Right

asked on February 18, 2016

Does anyone else have this problem with Forms?  We are currently in 9.2 but it has been happening for me for a while.  When I make choices when setting up the look up rules, no matter what I choose, it always fills in the first choice on the list and then I have to go back into the drop down and choose what I want again.

When I have a form with a large number of rules, it is a bit annoying to have to choose everything twice.  Does anyone know what this happens or how to fix it?

Starting with a blank rule:

Make a choice for the first box (Enabled is the first choice on the list but I choose Division):

Result of choosing Division:

Here I have to go back into the drop down box and rechoose Division.  After that I choose Division for the second box (Note BadgeLogo is the first on the list):

Result of choosing Division (at this point I have to go back into the drop down to rechoose Division):

This happens for EVERY choice.  Version 9.1 and earlier, it was just random time that is would do it.  With the upgrade to 9.2, it happens every single box/choice of every single rule I write.

I also have the random issue of when I have 3 – 4 (or more) When or Fill lines in a rule, when I choose the third or fourth (or later) rule, it takes all the previous lines about it and resets them all to the first choice.  Sometimes when I rechoose the last box, it will reset everything it just changed, sometimes it won’t.

Are you using IE11? This is a bug in Forms 9.2 and the workaround is to use Chrome/Firefox instead.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
