Question

Weblink with windows Authentication

asked on February 17, 2016

Hello,   We have a Customer that has 25 Weblink users, with 4 named users.   When adding a new Windows account (Read only with the Manage Trustees Privilege) The user can't access to Weblink. He only can access weblink if I add him as a named user.

Have you an Idea about that please ?   Other Questions : what minimum permissions and privileges did we need to access, to weblink with a read only user ?

 Thanks

If you want the user to connect to WebLink using the public portal license, then the user has to be read-only and not a named user. When the user has the "Manage Trustees" privilege, it bypasses the read-only setting so you'd have to remove "Manage Trustees" from that user.

Otherwise, if the user needs to have "Manage Trustees" then he/she will also need to be a named user in order to log in through WebLink.
