When splitting the document in Laserfiche Scanning and storing the documents, the "Document Type" field does not retain any value that was set. The Document Type field is a dynamic field and changes depending on the value in the "Document Category" field.
The user would enter metadata (including the Document Category and the Document Type) before splitting and would change those two fields accordingly for the new/2nd document. After storing to Laserfiche, all of the metadata is retained (including Document Category) except for Document Type, which is blank. Any suggestions on a fix or workaround? Thanks!

Hi Raymond,
Which version of the Laserfiche Client are you using? This was a known issue but should've been fixed in the service pack for Laserfiche 9.2.1 (KB 1013659). If you're already on the latest version, then there might be other factors causing the issue. I'd recommend opening a support case so we can investigate further. Thanks!
