Microsoft Exchange 2016 - Unable to Relink Laserfiche Ribbon Plugin

asked on February 12, 2016 Show version history

A recent Exchange server migration removed the Laserfiche Ribbon from Outlook.  I tried to add it back, but I think I'm linking to the wrong .dll file:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Laserfiche\Client\LFOffice\Laserfiche.Outlook2013Plugin.dll

It seems to be looking for a mscoree.dll file instead.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Eric,

1. Please check the disabled items in [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\Resiliency\DisabledItems]. If any, remove them first.

2. Set "LoadBehavior"=dword:00000003 in [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\Outlook2013SaveToLaserfiche.SaveInOutlook]
and [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\AddIns\Outlook2013SaveToLaserfiche.SaveInOutlook]
( If 32bit Office in 64bit OS set in [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\AddIns\Outlook2013SaveToLaserfiche.SaveInOutlook]
)

Hi Eric,

Is this happening on all machines, or just one? Can you try uninstalling/reinstalling the Client installation and see if that solves the issue?

Hi Justin,

It's happening on all machines running MS Outlook 2013 utilizing Exchange Server 2016.

I uninstalled the Client suite and reinstalled without success.

Thanks for looking into it.

That worked, the LoadBehavior was already set, but I had to delete all the items in the DisabledItems folder which did the trick.

Thanks Qinmei and Justin!

Does this prevent Outlook from automatically disabling add-ins that do not meet it's performance standards?
