I have a group of folders which have user access rights to the documents they contain. I would like to remove them all as they are now in groups which have been given the appropriate inherited rights. Is there any way to delete the user rights to the documents without having to open each document to remove them?

http://www.laserfiche.com/SolutionExchange/Article/clear-entry-access-rights-from-an-entry can be used to remove access rights from any entry and recourse down through the tree. It will clear everything, but depending on your scenario clearing and recreating the ones you do want for those folders might be simpler than manually removing rights from every single document.

This is exactly the utility I need however I cannot get this to run successfully. We are running Avante version 10. Should this be run from a client or from the server? I have tried a windows 10 and a windows 7 PC but get the same unhandled exception error 80040154.
