Question

Adding custom controls for styles using javascript

asked on February 8, 2016

Hi,I have added multi line field in Form and by using custom html i have added some controls for styles such as bold, italic, font size, font styles etc.By using javascript, these controls are working fine, but the styles are applied to all text in the content section not for the particular selected content.

For applying styles to the selected text,i have tried with the query but it is not working inside the text area control which is the multi line field of Forms. Can anyone help me to achieve this?

Hi Noohul,

One thing to be aware of is that Laserfiche Forms field data does not allow HTML as input, so if your text editor is generating HTML it will not be submitted. Another Answers post actually deals with this issue in the context of an external javascript file rich text editor as well. To edit text styling, we recommend using CSS instead, so you can target specific fields easily.

Hello everyone,

We have been able to integrate the Rich text box in LaserRiche Forms, we can store the captured and personalized data, we can even take them to WorkFlow and use them in documents like Word.

I leave you a screen impression, we can help you with this integration.
