Sort column by order of field list

I have a field of type "List" with fields specified in this order, Sort Options is set to "None":

 

Under Review

Approved

Fulfilled

Declined

 

When I sort this field in the list it comes out in sorts alphabetical

 

Is it possible to sort a column based on the order the values are listed in the field definition?

Hi Gene,


The column views in the Client only list content in an alphabetically ascending or descending order.  To view the information in a more customized way, you could export the contents as a csv list and organize the information in a program like Excel.  You can find the exporting option under File in the Client toolbar.

That was not the answer I was hoping for but it was the answer I was expecting.  Maybe I will add this to the Feature Request section.  Thanks.

This is exactly what I would want to do also, but don't want to have to export first.  I often wish I could sort by one column and then use a second sort to narrow things down.

you can actually do that using the WA client. multi column sorting is support in WA above version 9.1 i believe.
