Rights to not change template to another template

Hi, 

Is it possible to setup access rights for documents in certain folder so that the user is not able to change the physical template to another template, but they are able to edit the template fields or adjust metadata in the fields?

Hi Gert, 

Yes, it is possible for a user to edit metadata fields without being able to change the template. Using template security, you can allow or deny a user/group the right to read, modify or change the template. Be sure to assign the entry access right 'Write Metadata' so that the user can edit the fields. Check out this help guide for more information about template security.
