Outlook Laserfiche Add-In causing 'flickering' when moving mail

asked on February 4, 2016

The new Laserfiche 10 client Outlook Plugin (for Outlook 2010 at least) is causing the mail pane to flicker when you drag and drop a message into a different folder.  It also removes the 'undo' capability, ie: when I dragged an email to a folder before I could press undo and it would come back.  With the laserfiche plugin installed the undo option is grayed out.  When I disable the Laserfiche add-in both problems stop.

I didn't have this problem with 9.2.1.

Not sure if anyone else has seen this or has any ideas?

Hey Raymond, I just did the 10.1 upgrade on my client (the most recent from the website, I believe from April) and it appears to have resolved the issue.

Perhaps Owen if you have the same issue you can give that a shot if you haven't already?

Thanks Shaun.  Yes, we did the 10.1 server upgrade and that resolved this issue for us!

We are seeing this issue in our organization also.  Only seems to be effecting users with Laserfiche 10 client Office Plugin and Office 2010.  Users also see an issue when attempting to "drag" and email from the inbox to another folder within Outlook where the folder tree "resets" back to the "top level" rather than the currently visible folders in the folder tree (effectively the users can't drag the email into the desired folder without scrolling back down to the folder they were trying to drop onto).

Users of Office 2013 and 2016 are not seeing the issue.

Any resolution on this?  Seeing the same issue.  Outlook 2010, Laserfiche 10.

Shaun, unfortunately we have no resolution for this issue. Please open a case with your VAR so we can look further into the matter.

Owen, a case was opened for your issue but we did not hear back from your VAR when we asked for more details.
