When importing a text file as an image through Import Agent, IA creates two documents from that same text file we imported. It first creates the image file of the TXT file with the text searchable within the Text Pane, as well, it creates a second document with no image and only the text viewable within the Text Pane.

Is this normal behavior for IA to create two documents when importing from 1 TXT file?

Hi Mason,

I'm assuming you are talking about in the volume. In that case yes, LF will typically create 2 files for every document, one for the actual file and one for the text of that document. Having said that, electronic documents (word, excel etc.) will only have 1 file in the volume as the file already contains the text layer.

Hi Mason,

I could not reproduce the issue on our side. There is only one document in repository. How about your importing profile configured?
