Question

WebAccess 10 search not matching Client 10 search

asked on February 2, 2016

Hi,

I have come across some difference in the search interface in version 10.0

1)... In the Client, there is no ANNOTATION search other than in the COMMON search (one checkbox for searching in all annotations at once)...  but in Web Access 10 there is a complete annotation search section.

WIll this annotation sear improvement be implemented into the Client?

2)... In the Client, there is a search for Electronic Documents but in WebAccess 10, I don't find any way to perform all the searches that the Client is capable of doing.

Will there be something done in WebAccess to allow performing those searches?

Regards,

1) We didn't have a chance to update the desktop Client search to the enhancements made in WA 10, although we're hoping to match the blocks up in the future.

2) The edoc search is there, but it's moved. It's been merged in with the Pages search, and there's a button near the bottom of the block that allows you to select extensions (or none).

We've been trying to consolidate the number of seperate blocks a bit (you can see this most in the RM section), but that means some things are in different locations then before.
