We recently upgraded the Laserfiche server to v. 9.2.1.635. Shortly thereafter, users applying a template containing a field with 6 characters reported that the %(Parent) token was simply replaced by the first six characters of the token, and not with the employee number which appeared in the parent folder's template.

We believe the field inheritance in this template functioned prior to the upgrade, and no documents created prior to the upgrade contain incorrect metadata.

Is this a known issue? As a work around, we have increased the field length to nine characters, but it should be six.
