Laserfiche 8 RecyclyBin Restore taking long

Customer Name: Gila River.

Laserfiche Version Lf 8.0.2.788

Laserfiche server: server 2003 service pack 2, 32 bit, 4gb ram.

SQL Server: server 2008 R2, 64 bit, 64 Ram, SQL 2008 R2

Root folder of one repository deleted named Full Courts. Approximately 800,000 images and sub folders contained. Recycle Bin enabled.

Recreated original folder in Laserfiche so users could continue working and started restore of deleted folder. We now see Full Courts(2) but it has an hour glass and unable to access or see documents after 3 days.

 

How long should this process take.  We go into Laserfiche and the hour glass spins. event viewer gives us a LF Hang.

The VAR opened a case for this issue.  The thread will be updated with the results when the case is done.

After the files were restored from the recycle bin, it appeared that the client was hanging.  At that point, we requested a server reboot.  According to the VAR, the missing files are now present and the issue is resolved.
