Custom Fonts using Fill Out PDF in Workflow

asked on January 29, 2016

Hi friends,

I'm trying to fill out specific pdf input box using a custom font and it doesn't seem to be working as I expected. My end goal here is to use a barcode font in order print dynamic bar codes on a cover sheet. So if there are any tips or advice as to what i am dong wrong, they are grated appreciated. Below are some screenshots of me trying to use a font (not barcode) but I couldn't even get that working.

Here is the font i'm trying to use

And here are my settings in WF

I've tried other combinations of settings following this guide https://support.laserfiche.com/KB/1013512. But all results are the same when i look at my pdf.

Thanks!

Have you tried setting the font in the Form Field on the master PDF rather than the Workflow Activity?  The attached image shows the setting in Adobe I used.

What happens when you use it?

It just uses the default generic font. Doesn't use the font I specified.

Any errors or warnings on the instance details? Does the font exist on the Workflow Server? Does the Workflow Server's service use have rights to that folder?

Thanks Thomas, Thanks Miruna

I went with your suggestion Thomas. It was so much easier to set the font on the pdf rather than in WF. I had a bit of trouble reading the barcode in QF afterwards but turns out working with code128 is much more complicated than code39. So anyone reading this, I suggest using code 39, and all you have to do is put a * in front and at the end of whatever it is your trying to encode. For example *123456*. Thanks everyone =)
