Laserfiche 10

Is anyone on (avante) Laserfiche 10, Workflow 10, and Forms 10 yet? Any problems?

 

Has licensing changed at all?

I can confirm that licensing hasn't changed from Laserfiche 9.2 for Avante or United. The licensing is basically the same for Rio as well, but the Laserfiche Directory Server (LFDS) 10 is significantly different than LFDS 9.2 or the earlier Rio License Managers.

Does LF 10 have any of the following features?

- Signatures transferred into fillable PDF forms

- Attach completed form to an email within LF Forms in Process Modeler

- PayPal integration

 

I didn't see these in the demos I watched so I am asking you all that have LF 10 :) Thanks!

No, none of those features have been added in Forms 10.

We are on all 3. Had a few minor issues that were worked out very quickly. Loving the new features.

Blake, you guys have a lot of forms, right? Did the upgrade affect them, or was it pretty much seamless?

The forms themselves were unaffected by the upgrade. One problem we had was our license file was not correct, but that was because we had made some changes to our licensing.

Another issue that we had was on forms that we had in an iframe on our employee website. The signature field did not work correctly, but there is a workaround for that now.

We also had an issue with the https connection between Forms and Workflow. We had to uncheck the secure connection box in the Forms configuration, save it, and then re-checked it and saved it to get it to work correctly.

Other than those three things (with update 1 applied) we have not had any issues.

We have one form that is embedded into our website via the iframe, do you think this will be an issue for any form that has iframe and signature or was it more of an isolated event?

Mine is the only post I've seen in Answers about the problem, so I don't know. Not all of our users experienced the issue either. If you do, I would just open a support case with your VAR and Laserfiche has a fix for it.

Hi,

I'm setting up my Workflow Server, and when I get to monitored repositories I get the following error. All my licenses are active. 

Do I need to re-enter the activation keys? And if so, which one do I use? (None of the keys say 'Workflow').
