Found an error "The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure Channel." while using Web Access 9.2.0.

Hi there,

I am getting this error, when I try to open MS Word 2013 from the Web Access 9.2.0 "The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure Channel". For now the certificate of this Laserfiche server site is using a temporary untrusted certificate which is a self-signed certificate and we have to use this certificate for a while until we got a new trusted certificate. How could we solve this error until then?

Please give me a suggestion.

You should be able to use something like group policy to push the self-signed certificate out to client machines, which will make them accept it.

Hi Brian,

     Could you explain more about group policy? Now I try another way to solve this issue by reinstalling the Laserfiche Office Plugin 9.2 and then I receive the another error message “Could not connect to Web Access. Please make sure URL is correct.” when opening Office documents through Web Access and I am prompted to log into the repository.

How could I accomplish opening Office documents through Web Access 9.2.0?

Please give me some advice.
