How to preserve original email date when transferring data to Laserfiche

I am transferring old case files to Laserfiche, which include email correspondence. Is there a way to preserve the original date of email so it is searchable?

You can set up the Laserfiche Client or Web Access to grab email properties and place them in field values at import. https://www.laserfiche.com/support/webhelp/Laserfiche/10/en-US/userguide/#../Subsystems/client_wa/Content/AddingContent/Importing_Electronic_Files.htm#SpecialConsiderationsforEmails has information on this.
