Question

Error signing in to repository. The user login or password is incorrect

asked on January 26, 2016

Trying to get into the server from Mobile app on Android.

Getting that Error even though I've verified the Trustee name and password are correct.

Getting Laserfiche->Service->Admin  Event Viewer error:

LFS received an unrecognized or unexpected error from LFDS. Service Call=GetUnsignedTokenEx; LFDS error code=0

Removing SSL and removing their Domain on the Repository configuration actually seemed to work.

I know the repository was already full qualified.  Is this error message the result of SSL being selected and not actually being configured?

Or is it a result of a repository server being fully qualified and then listing the domain adds it again?

EX:

laserfiche.domain.local       if I list Domain as:  domain.local.  Does it tag it on...

laserfiche.domain.local.domain.local ?

Just curious with the error value being returned 0 which im sure is just an error value return.  Not much to go by from what I can see.

This issue is still occurring with the latest version but the above fix is resolving the issue. Just an FYI for those looking to get this fixed for your system.

Yes, it's a known issue we have with the domain on configuration page. And we resolved the issue, and will be included in our next update. For now, we hope users can work around with removing the domain in the configuration page.

Does this also affect their ability to use the DOMAIN\user log in?

We are currently using a workaround with name@domain.local

Type in Mobile with DOMAIN\user works.

Only when you have the domain field filled in on configuration page will fail the login.

Julia would you be able to elaborate on this issue? Is it a know issue for Avante or just when using the LFDS?

This issue is specific to Mobile Server 10 where if you specified a domain in the Mobile Configuration Page, then trying to log in as a repository user will fail because it prepends the domain and backslash to the username which will result in an invalid Windows account.

The workaround Julia mentioned is to not specify a domain in the configuration page and have users manually enter domain\username if they want to log in using their Windows account.

This will be fixed in the next Mobile update.

This issue has now been addressed in the Update 1 of the Laserfiche Mobile Server 10. Please download the Update 1 from here.

Specifically

  • Users with repository accounts can now sign in to Laserfiche Mobile if a domain name has been configured on the Laserfiche Mobile Configuration page. (137879)

I am running Forms 10.1.2 Update 1 & I still had the same error. Removing the domain solved my login issue
