Invalid Class String when Scanning with KOFAX

A client is getting an "Invalid Class String" when trying to scan with KOFAX. Event viewer does not show anything and the customer said that it was working before.  I have attached a picture of the message. Please advise.

When does the error come up?
Same behavior when you use basic scanning?
Is Kofax currently installed?
Does the scanner work outside of LF using ?
Did anything change in the system?  If so, what exactly?
