Please re-add the Font Awesome library to Forms

Forms 9.2 has Font Awesome by default. However, it seems that it got phased out in version 10. It's commented out on line 94 of _FormLayout.cshtml and the library is removed from the libs folder.

Virtually all of our Forms projects make use of those icons, so it would be great if you guys could add it back. Manually doing it is cumbersome and prone to breaking during upgrades.

Hi Ege,

Forms 9.2 and before used Font Awesome to handle icon. With the technology advances, developers realize that font Awesome is no longer the best option to handle icons. When zoom in, font will become fuzzy and it has lots of limitations.

So in Forms 10, the icon is handled by SVG, and Font Awesome is removed from product. You can read more here http://www.w3schools.com/svg/

Let's turn this into a feature request then: it would be great if Forms had a built-in method of easily adding third-party libraries (JS/CSS/Fonts) to the base form template. Kind of like how it works with JSFiddle (see the "external resources" option on the left sidebar).

Hi Ege,

Now you can include the external library link in the CSS and Javascript page when customizing a form.

We'll consider your request for generic build-in method in future versions.
