Question

Salesforce Integration Please!!

asked on January 15, 2016

Any plans for LF 11?  A native integration would help us a ton on this.

Thanks

Hi Yoochul,

Laserfiche integrates with a number of products through Laserfiche Connector; Salesforce is indeed on the list of supported applications.

Hope this helps!

Thanks James.  I'll certainly look into that.  It just seemed non existent if I did a search in your help topics for salesforce and nothing comes up.

James,

The information on this site re Salesforce integration is very limited.  There really isn't much therefore it seems that most people don't seem to be using Connector for this type of integration.  Do you have any additional resources on using Connector with Salesforce?

Thanks
Yooch

From your comment on another post, it looks like you are looking for a way to create cases in Salesforce based on information within Laserfiche. To do that, you are probably wanting a solution on the Salesforce end rather than on the Laserfiche end; Connector would be for example running a search for client files based on their data within Salesforce, not the other way around. You could configure Connector to launch an instance of Salesforce and pass it arguments, but for that documentation again you would have to look for that from the Salesforce end, not Laserfiche.

Having never used any of them, I cannot personally attest to either, but in our Integrations Marketplace there are links to third-party integrations between Laserfiche and Salesforce offered by Cambridge Solutions or Cities Digital that you may be interested in checking out.

I hope this is helpful.

Thanks James for your help.  I was trying to create accounts, orders, contacts etc from a LF form.  I guess it'll have to come down to a third party integrator.

Yooch,

We at Cities Digital do indeed have a Salesforce Integration that likely will do everything you need. It includes an iFrame window into Laserfiche from the Salesforce account page, and can also be configured to create new folders when a Salesforce account is generated. Please take a look at our demo and email us at sales@citiesdigital.com if you have more questions. Thanks!
