Licensing Forms - best practice?

asked on January 14, 2016

Hi all,

We have a small problem in that our faculty advisors have approve some forms, and there is about 50 of them. The problem is that we do not have 50 participant licenses, and have some open LF licenses.

1. What would be the best way to allow access to our faculty advsiors to approve their forms?

2. In admin console, there are: users, groups, and windows accounts. Can I assign multiple people to a single User license and how will that work in forms?

3. Any other suggestion on letting faculty advisors approve forms, we were going to split them by the department if we can give them group-based licensing.

Thank you!!

Hello Lidija,

If you have 50 faculty advisors and all of them need to approve the forms, then you'd need to assign either a Named User License or a Forms Participant User License to each user. Both of these licenses are specific to one user and you cannot assign a multiple of users under a single license.

If you have further questions about licensing, I'd recommend speaking to your VAR. Hope this helps!
