Hi

We get this error on Weblink 8 "Compressed file data is invalid or corrupt and cannot be decompressed", no information on the support site, only the reference to the error reference.

Each file on the volume is compressed separately, so that is definitely possible.  What might have happened is that when the volume compression was turned on, not all of the files were compressed, and the ones that weren't obviously fail to decompress.  That's something that support can help you determine.

Are you trying to open a compressed, zip file?  If so, can export the file using the LF client and open it outside of Laserfiche?  If you cannot, then the file is corrupted.

That seems to be a documented Laserfiche server error code, which means the problem isn't really related to WebLink.  What exactly are you trying to do when the error occurs?

download  a document

Does the volume that contains the document happen to be a compressed volume?  Something may have gone wrong with the compression.  You'll probably want to open a support case to troubleshoot further.

Some documents of the volumen work and some don't.
