Exporting Tiff files to a PDF through Weblink drops some special characters randomly. The process that the customer is taking is that they have a document in Laserfiche that they wish to export. This document is exported through Weblink and saved as a PDF. When the text is extracted from the PDF, there are some special characters that are omitted sporadically. When checking in Laserfiche the OCR text has all special characters. The original PDF prior to the page generation, when extracting the text, contains all the special characters when saving it as a text file. Unfortunately I cannot post the documents publicly since it has sensitive information. If a support case is needed please let me know.
