How to calculate number of failed logins to WebLink

asked on December 28, 2015 Show version history

I'm working with an organization that would like to calculate the number of daily logins that fail due to licensing constraints in WebLink. They can't afford the unlimited Public Portal, but have some room to expand their current setup. Can this be done through counting errors in the events log or elsewhere?

Hi Ryan,

Do they have audit trail? You could run reports on failed login operations, filtered for the public portal account user.

Hey Justin, thanks for the answer. They do not have audit trail, but do have the integrator's toolkit. Any options there or do they need to get audit trail to get to the bottom of the issue?

This type of information is only available through the audit logs, it's not recorded anywhere else.
