Question

Viewing PDFs in Web Access 10

asked on December 28, 2015

I remember seeing an early version of Web Access 10 that when you opened a PDF in Web Access that did not have pages it opened in the document viewer so you could see metadata and everything else in the same window. I've tried it recently and it's either downloading of opening in a new tab depending on my settings. Is this something anyone else has seen?

Hi Eddie,

This is not supported in Web Access at this time (and wasn't in earlier prototypes either), but we're looking to support this in the near future.

Go into the Options page and click on "Display." Under the "Viewing" section, where it says "Select default behavior for opening an electronic file" make sure to select "Open electronic file in document viewer."

All I get is this...

I'm pretty sure that even without pages it would still show the PDF
