we are a RIO licensed organization, using Directory Server and AD integration. A department placed an additional repository server up. The repository appears to be secure, password was set on the admin account and permissions and rights were removed from Everyone. Everyone was removed from the root. anyone can access this repository, even without a license. anyone can also open the admin console though many items are grayed out. Our existing repositories have been in place for long time. I am sure I am missing something simple, however, I need to move forward, embarrass myself and solve this issue.

Problem solved. I did not originally set up the repository. The admin password was never set. When I changed the password, that actually set it the first time.

For that new repository, open the Laserfiche Administration Console and look at the properties of the Everyone group. Under the "Authentication" section, please make sure that "Not set" is selected.
