asked on December 22, 2015

Hello guys , sorry my English , I am beginner in the language . I have a problem in the installation of a new laser fiche repository , creating it brings the following error message with .

9288 : This repository does not have an associated catalog . This repository does not have an associated catalog . Until the catalog is attached or created , you will not be able to run full text searches on the repository or index your documents . You may attach the associated catalog or create a new one through the Index node in the Laserfiche Administration Console. If you create a new catalog , you will need to reindex your repository .

Does anyone know what can it be ?

The service name is called "Laserfiche Full Text Search" service.  Typically it is installed with the LF server but it can be installed elsewhere.  Run the LF server install and install LFFTS on the machine.

The repository is missing it search catalog. You can create one then reindex.  Instructions can be found in the Admin Console help under the "To create a new search index catalog" section.

The 9479 error means that LFFTS is not running.  Make sure the service is running then try creating the search catalog.

Once you reinstall or install LFFTS, you will still need to create the Search Catalog then reindex.
