One of the users in our office is using Adobe Standard 9 as her default PDF viewer; however, PDF documents aren't available for preview in her Laserfiche Client (Version 9.2). Are only more recent versions of Adobe compatible with Laserfiche 9.2?

The Laserfiche client should be compatible with much older versions of the Adobe Reader. Internally it uses the same Adobe Reader ActiveX control that web browsers use to view PDFs. What happens if they open a PDF in Internet Explorer?

Hi Robert,
Thanks for getting back to me on this. Actually, to view PDF's on the internet, she'll click the link and it will open in the Adobe program, not within the browser.
I'll look more closely at this and try an Adobe repair/reinstall.
Thank-you.

Try right clicking on the pdf in windows explorer and doing Open With -> Internet Explorer. If the pdf opens properly in IE, then the ActiveX control is working properly and the problem must be elsewhere.
