Hi there,

Thanks for the suggestions. Usually Business Process get terminated due to the inappropriate configuration of the Business Process (e.g. User Task has no form selected).

I'll take your use case back to product team.

Hi,

I am in need of this as well. Although I understand that errors in the BP configuration can cause an error, I'm now trying to troubleshoot unexplained errors causing a BP to terminate.

For this particular case, I have on average 30 new instances started per week. Each BP instance could take up to 7 days for my users to process to completion. The step that failed has never failed before, only failed for one instance and no changes have been made to this process. So it seems rather random.

If there was a fail safe global Try/Catch or just place the process on hold and auto assign to a defined user, at least the work and data will not be lost and have to start all over again.

Any idea on when something like this will be introduced to Forms 10?

Thanks

Sheldon

Hi Sheldon, thanks for your use case. This feature is not available in Forms 10 yet, we are doing research for it, similar feature may be available in Forms 11.
