Limitations on number of Custom HTML fields?

asked on December 20, 2015 Show version history

Is there a limitation on the number of Custom HTML fields that can be added to a form before the form becomes unresponsive? Does that limitation change if field variables are used within the Custom HTML fields?

There is no limitation for number of custom fields. Is the Form become unresponsive when edit or when load form to submit. Can you open an support case and provide us an copy of the process which include the form you run into problem so that we can do further trouble shooting to identify the problem?

Thanks for your answer. I'm asking because I'm about to add a lot of Custom HTML controls and before I take the time to do that, I just wanted to make sure that it won't result in an unresponsive form design.

The form already has some issues while working in the editor (Chrome's "Awww Snap" message), which I think must be a result of the number of fillable fields. The longer the form is open and I'm working on it, the slower the form response becomes. Once I close and reopen it, it works fine for a while and then the response slowly gets worse.

If the form becomes more difficult to work with after adding the Custom HTML controls, I'll open a support case.

Thanks again!
