MS Outlook Attachments - can a Word doc be changed to a tiff straight from Outlook?

We would like to use the tab for "Save to Laserfiche" straight from MS Outlook to bring in attachments, but want them to come in as LF images.  They are coming in as the original format (ex: Word doc) instead of as LF images.  We've looked at the Tools\Options\Outlook settings, but cannot find a choice for making this change.  Are we missing something?

If you save the attachment separately, you can select it inside the client and generate LF pages after it is saved.

This cannot be done this way unfortunately. Saving to laserfiche saves it as a regular word document.

 

To do what you are asking, you would want to print to laserfiche using Laserfiche Snapshot. This document will be saved as a tiff and will be indexed for future searches.

Okay, thanks.  Will continue to do the attachments by saving to Windows first and then bringing them in using Snapshot.
