Question

Sort order for search results

asked on December 15, 2015 Show version history

I am doing a repository search and emailing the search results to the users in the Table format.

In the email, I want the sort the results based on the date.

How can I sort the search results in the email? Do I need to sort in the search query in the repository? I don't see an options to sort the search results in the repository.

Please see this web help page. When you select the "Search Repository" activity and then look at the Properties pane, scroll down all the way to the bottom to find the "Sort Found Entries By" section.

Are you doing this through the SDK?

I am not doing it in SDK.

I am creating a multivalue token. Then searching the repository and assigning the values to this token.

Please see the screenshot.

The Search Repository activity allows you to specify the sort order in Workflow 10.

We are using 9.2.1. Is there a way to do it in our current version?
