Question

Is it possible to shutdown a LF Client session ?

asked on December 14, 2015 Show version history

Is it possible to configure Laserfiche Client to shutdown whean a user is still "logged in" using a session but not currently seing it, so that an unused session could be shutdown.

Also, is there any manual or documentation about The Current Actions node in the Repository´s Activity node in the LF 9.2 Administration Console ?

Thanks.

There is an automatic log off policy in the Repository Options > Settings > Sessions section. It logs off sessions that are inactive for a set period of time.

If you are using Web Access, you can set a seperate inactive timeout for those sessions.

An administrator can log users out from the Sessions node. The use will get a message that the session has been disconnected when they try to do any actions in Laserfiche afterwards and they will be prompted to log back in.
