If a volume is missing the LOC files is not being show in the repository due to no location being recognized, is there a way to either give the volume a new set of LOC files in a new location? Or do those files simply need to be re imported into the client again to generate the LOC files?

The .loc files are the OCR word location files so you just need to re-OCR the document within the volume to get them back.
All the files within the volume aren't seen in the client though. There is no way to OCR them again. Or even view them.
I'm not sure what you mean by that. Do you mean that the volume is corrupted and you are missing documents? If so, then you have other issues besides the loc files.
You wouldn't OCR the images directly by accessing the volume. The easiest way to do this would be by running a search for all documents in the volume then multi-selecting the search results, right clicking and selecting "generate text".
i mean the volume is attached in the admin console. none of the files in the 108 gigs are visible on the repository. When you log into the client. There's nothing there for anyone to retreive.
So if you search in the client for docs in the volume, the list comes up empty and/or you cannot open any files? Do you have rights to the volume and all the files in it?
There is nothing there. And yes I am using the Admin account.
Open a case so we can look further into the matter
Ok Thanks!
