Forms 10: Did they add in any options to display variables in the task list?

I know this has been submitted as a feature request at times in the past, such as this thread: https://answers.laserfiche.com/questions/52992/Feature-Request--Forms-91--User-Task-name-to-allow-variables

I know you can add it to the process task name but I don't believe that would be something that could be filtered in the new filter system.

Is there any way to accomplish somehting like this in 10?

Hi there,

Variables can be used in Instance name. Instance name is displayed in the Task list. Can you let me know why the User Task name need to be dynamic?

Can you expand on where this option is? I do not see where I have the ability to add variables. We also have a client looking for this option.

In Forms 10, if you go to "Publishing Options" for your Forms process, you should see an option to update the instance name:

Thanks Cathy. I was looking in the wrong place. I echo the suggestion about being able to put form variables in each task name in the process modeler. It would be quite helpful.

In this case the customer has asked that they have certain variables from the first form submission in a process be visible and sortable without having to open the subform. They want something equivalent to adding metadata columns in Laserfiche itself.

Hi there,

Then this is not really for Task name, you want it to be listed. I will take the "support field variable in Inbox task list" as feature request back to the team.

I wanted to bump this feature request as I just had a user request this today and it is not available currently in Forms v11. The main reason for wanting to add process variables as columns in the Inbox for our users is the ability to sort them.
