Hi Sherilee,
Although I am not aware of any specific integrations with ProjectDox, it is definitely possible as Laserfiche has an open API and can easily integrate with other applications.
If your goal is to bring documents into Laserfiche and assign metadata for archival purposes, you can certainly use a combination of Laserfiche tools to accomplish this. Once the documents have completed ProjectDox’s electronic review process and are exported out of ProjectDox’s system, there are a number of ways to bring documents into Laserfiche.
If the exported documents are stored in network directories, one option is configure Import Agent to monitor network directories and import documents into specified locations in the Laserfiche repository. Import Agent can also utilize information associated with the documents to index and name the documents upon import. If you need to categorize the documents in the network directories, you can use Quick Fields to capture, categorize and index based on type.
Laserfiche can interact with any ODBC compliant database, and since ProjectDox uses SQL on the backend, you should be able to exchange information between the two systems. Quick Fields can look up data from ProjectDox and use existing information to assign metadata and dynamically route documents during the capture process. Once documents are brought into Laserfiche, you can use Workflow to push and pull information to and from ProjectDox, or any other ODBC compliant sources.
These are just a few examples on how Laserfiche can be integrated with ProjectDox as an archival solution. Beyond the methods mentioned above, Laserfiche also offers a comprehensive SDK, which will allow you to expand existing functionalities and further integration the two systems.
