Laserfiche client crash when opening PDF files

Hello Everyone,

I have a customer that is having trouble with their client software crashing when they open a .pdf. the hard thing is that its intermediate. She can open files with no problem sometimes and then other times it just crashes. She can pull the docs out of LF on to the desktop and open flawlessly. I have already uninstalled the software and reinstalled. Any ideas for help would be great.

You should try one of the problem PDFs with your 9.2.1 or greater VARkit by exporting it as a briefcase then importing it into your VARkit.  There have been numerous changes in the LF client and server that may already have resolved the issue and trying it with your VARkit would confirm that.

I tried to put 9.2.1 on her computer and it would not let me open the repository. Am I'm doing something wrong?

You can do both at the Support site.  If you are unable to create cases or cannot see the "chat" link in the Support site, you will have to talk to the Ray Morgan VAR Admin to give you both rights to the Support site.
