Question

Populate Forms Table with SQL lookup values

asked on December 4, 2015

Hi all,

We have a form that, based on a few constraints (date, route, team and customer), will populate a table field with data from a sql lookup. This has been working fine, but now as we have been expanding the process we've found situations where we have a choice of 50+ items having to be manually selected once a row is added. which has been leading to much user error.

Essentially, I would want once the lookup rules are completed, the table will auto-populate all the values in the table field

I found this answer for changing row labels, but I can't seem to modify the code to work in our environment... Any ideas?

Hi Abby,

Essentially what I would like is, for each value found by the sql lookup for the tracking numbers, create a row in the table and fill each tracking number field with data found by the sql lookup.

I would want this to happen once the other sql lookups have been completed.

Hi there,

In Forms 10, lookup multiple values fill into multiple rows is supported out of box. In Forms 9.2, you need to write your custom script to achieve it.

Upgraded to Forms 10, there's a performance bug with lookups. opened a case with support and there's no resolution at the moment.

Had to downgrade to version 9.2 to get the forms to work.

anyone have a script that returns all the data based on the criteria, a la forms 10?

This performance issue is addressed in Laserfiche Forms 10 Update 1

Can you post a screenshot of what you try to accomplish?
