is there a way for a form to calculate tax for me based on the inputted amount?

I am creating a purchase order and would like the form to automatically calculate tax based on the state tax %.

It is possible using JavaScript. From my understanding, Forms 10 handles this natively using OpenFormula. If you give me some specifics on your form, I could help you with some code.
