removing or hiding unused fields when submitting a form

Hi!

I'm trying to setup a form for a customer that requires quite a lot of fields (tickboxes etc) on the form to cover what might need to be entered.

However on any specific instance of this form, a third of it may be unused.

This makes the submitted for quite long once in LF.

Is there any way of having fields or sections that are unused in the form hidden from the end document?

You can use field rules to hide some fields/sections base on other fields' value.

Hi!

i think that will help. im still waiting for feedback about which bits need hiding and the conditions for this.

i may have to revise the form a little to make this work.

All i need to do then is teach myself CSS to tidy up the layout even more :(
