Web Access 10 missing folders

Hi everyone,

I just download and install web access 10 in our enviroment and we are having a few problems. The first one is that the folder icon is missing and the option to create a record from RM is not showing.

Does this happen with anyone so far??

I did try Chrome, IE and Firefox, but is the same in everything.

Was this a clean install or an upgrade? If you look in web.config (in Program Files\Laserfiche\Web Access\Web Files), do you have a section that looks like this:

    <staticContent>
      <!-- these types exist on some frameworks/OSes and not others -->
      <remove fileExtension=".woff" />
      <mimeMap fileExtension=".woff" mimeType="application/font-woff" />

      <remove fileExtension=".svg" />
      <mimeMap fileExtension=".svg" mimeType="image/svg+xml" />
    </staticContent>

Hi Miruna,

It was one upgrade from 9.2. And yes I check up and it has this section, excatly the same that you meition.

I dopnot see any issue

the display is just different and all seem there, the option to create record or manage record are there, when you press the vertical dot, you can see a menu and you have Record Action there.

So if you press record action, you will see the option to create record folders

Hi Rene,

Thanks for the feedback. I still not knowing what is happen with us, I did try to re-install but still not showing the icon folders, and when I select the Record Action option don't show the option that you mention!

I suggest you to uninstall web access and install it back. to see if it fixes your issue.

else than that you should open a ticket with Laserfiche support

What is the OS and language of the server that Web Access is installed on?

Hi Brian,

The OS where the LF Server is installed is Windows Server 2012 Datacenter, the windows it is English, but the client machines are Portuguese.

I did try unistall , reboot the server and installed again and still the same, but thanks for the tip.

Hi Brian,

I just notice that this problem happen only with the pcs with Windows in Portuguese. I removed and installed laserfiche web access 10 in the server (Windows in english), and when I open any browser it works perfectly, but when I go to a desktop having windows in Portuguese the problem persist.
