Hi
We have an ERP (JD Edwards) that all the reports are generated to pdf, we can’t change this configuration to print to snapshot, after we generate the PDF we use snapshot to upload to the documents to Laserfiche. When we use QF to classify and extract metadata the process always says unidentified documents.

Sorry I forgot to add that when we do and OCR on the client we get all the text generated.

There is not enough information to troubleshoot. It sounds like you are using Capture Engine, but you're not specifying whether you're retrieving the images along with the PDFs or generating them in Quick Fields. There is also no information on how the identification is done.

We use Capture Engine; we generate the pages before en Laserfiche, also try printing and scanning, On Laserfiche client the OCR works fine but the zone OCR does not recognize the document when we used for classification. And when we manually assign the document one class and run the process does not complete the fields, it runs the OCR.

Ok, so Capture Engine is set to retrieve both the PDF and the image pages? What do you see when Zone OCR runs on the image pages?
