When the users click on the open button it takes about 20+ seconds to be prompted for user name and password. We have turned off scan network for repositories and attached the repository by IP address. The laserfiche server is hosted and is being used with a tunnel VPN to access. Once the user are logged in there is no slowness. 

Since the user would normally log into the client once a day that is fine, but they are seeing the same interaction with Snapshot and they are using snapshot more often causing a slowenss in their operations. 

Is there any way to speed up the connection to the repository?
