Hi,

I cannot seem to find a way to automatically synchronise Forms Participants with an Active Directory group and containing 400 users.

I have tried adding the Group within the LDAP configuration, but will only bring in just the group, ie no users. It appears to be a manual process:

1) Synchronise

2) Under Participants Search the AD Group (eg LF_EFORMS_PARTICIPANTS)

3) Select this group

4) Hit the "Allocate License" button.

We are a decent sized organisation with 700 Named user licenses and 400 Forms participant licenses. It seems like a severe limitation for large organizations that are buying hundreds of these participant licenses to expand Forms usage at an enterprise level.

Is there any plan to make this work like it currently does for Named Users in Forms? Is it s feature in V10?

So the users in this group are actually synchronized into Forms(they appear in participants tab) right? What you want is to automatically allocate license to new users added to that group? If this the feature you request, it is not supported in Forms 10 yet.

Hi, what value did you configure for base distinguished name? The base distinguished name should start with "ou"("ou= users, ou=lf,dc=laserfiche, dc=com" for example). If you put the distinguished name for a group("cn=group1,ou= users, ou=lf,dc=laserfiche, dc=com" for example) in base distinguished name, only the group will be synchronized, the users belong to the group won't be synchronized.

Hi, our Base Distinguished name is: DC=rap,DC=local

We did try putting in the group in the base distinguished name, and you are correct, only the group was synchronised (not the users in the group).

What am I missing that will automatically synchronise the users in that group, other than using our current base distinguished name, synchronising, then manually selecting the group and selecting allocate license? I am just after a way we don't have do this manually.

Can this please be added as a feature request? It seems like a severe limitation for larger organisations.
