Template only available in certain folders

I am looking for a way to limit the available template(s) for users to apply, based on the folder they are in. See example below for more detail:

Folder 1 - Shipping Documents: This folder should have access to ALL Templates because a shipping document can be assigned any type of template

Folder 2 - Proof of Deliver (POD): This folder should ONLY allow users to apply the POD Template to images stored within this folder.

I'm not sure this is possible with the current config, but hoping someone can come up with a work-around! Any help is much appreciated.

Hi Nate,

Laserfiche does not support the requested functionality at this time, so I will take it as a feature request.

However, you could try some reactive measures, such as having Workflow email you when an incorrect template is used. You might need multiple starting conditions for entry created/moved/copied/changed etc., based on your use case.
