Checked to ensure Outlook was the default e-mail client

Checked registry to make sure key is correct.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail and that the (Default) string data value is set to Microsoft Outlook.

Trying to send from Tasks - email document - tried to send as PDF and default, no luck

Any thoughts as to a fix?

Independent of the LF Client, are you able to send attachments via Outlook? Using windows explorer, right click on any file on the desktop then select "Send to mail recipient".  Once selected, it should open Outlook with a blank email and the document attached.  Does it do that?

The user responded to the question: " that works just fine if you right click on the desktop file and click on mail recipient.  I was trying to send e-mail via Laserfiche as I was shown this when I went to another AgriLife Office for training. "

Thanks. We needed to confirm that Outlook worked normally outside of Laserfiche.  Please have your VAR open a case with Support so we can look further into the matter.
