Import agent importing Documents with 2 Profiles

Hi,

Is it possible to set import agent to run 2 profiles at the same time?

Say you have 2 profiles and both profiles has documents in them, Profile 1 has 50 000 documents and then Profile 2 has 55 000 documents in them. Currently import agent is only importing documents on Profile 2 and not on Profile 1 because it has a large amount of documents to import still.

Is there a setting i can change?

Unfortunately yes. You need an additional license. If it's really high volume importing then maybe quick fields could also help out here?

Hi Gert,

As far as I know IA can only execute 1 profile at one time. We ran into this a few years ago whereby the load on IA wasn't being met by the application. We had to install a separate instance of IA to combat the issue.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your reply, i knew it can't do it, but thought there will be a possibility that it could. Installing another instance meant that you had to get an additional license?

Thanks Chris, unfortunately the client doesn't have Quickfields. Just had to confirm this.
